My understanding was that the add-on plugin would make the Sticky Navigation work if you enable Sticky menu under QuadMenu>Options>GeneratePress Theme and under Configuration>Primary Menu select the GeneratePress Theme as the Theme.

Impressive Megamenus are difficult and messy by design. I think this plugin does a clean job of getting you there with less of the mess. I really like this one.
