Evidence: I think I may be able to create an option (in a future version) where you can choose to use one or the other (or at least fall-back on the “Alt/Title” field when “Description” is empty), but it sounds like the quickest solution for you right now would be to copy and paste each image’s “Alt/Title” to it’s corresponding “Description” field.
