Evidence: Hi @doonfrs , I recommend using the Code Snippets plugin for adding code customisations to a WordPress site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ I will look at updating this plugin at some point in the future to ensure it remains compatible, but at the moment most of my development effort is spent on Code Snippets.
