Server Error on image upload

Hi, I really like this plugin and want to use it but I am getting a server error on image uplaod. “The server cannot process the image. This may be because it is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. The recommended maximum size is 2560 pixels.” But when i refresh the library the image is there, converted and resized. Also it is working ok on single image convert on already uploaded images. Can the php version cause this?
