supportHello, I am running a WooCommerce shop (German/French) and using WordPress 6.3.2, WooCommerce 8.3 and Performant Translations 1..0.7. I experience some wrong/missing translations on the checkout page when the plugin is enabled (the checkout page will be in English). When I deactivate the plugin the translations are correct (German and French). Is there a way to solve this issue? Thanks a lot, Michael
Hi Michael, thanks for flagging this! Are you using a multilingual plugin for supporting both German and French on the frontend? I just did a very simple test with WordPress 6.4.1, WooCommerce 8.3.1, PT 1.0.7, and setting the site language to German. The checkout page is in German as expected. WooCommerce does a lot of custom things with translation files, so perhaps what you could try is completely uninstalling Performant Translations and then installing it again. That should help refresh translations. Please let me know if that works for you.
Hi Pascal, oh yes, I forgot to mention that. I am using WPML (latest version). I have reinstalled the “Performant Translations” plugin, but the problem persists. Greetings from Zurich 🙂
Unfortunately I can’t reproduce this with WPML either 🙁 I’m using WPML, the string translations add-on, and the WooCommerce add-on. All Woo pages like checkout or account pages are always correctly translated, in all languages I’ve set up.
Okay, thanks for the review. I will try to find out what is causing the problem.
If you are able to somehow provide steps to reproduce (maybe with an InstaWP site or something), that would be very helpful.
