Does it complement or replace the tinyMCE table? Is it more reliable? https://wordpress.org/plugins/frontier-buttons/ It compliments tinyMCE, it doesn’t replace it You can manage your tinyMCE button layout The tinyMCE table function doesn’t need compliments, it needs repair. Hi, Table support now works again from Frontier Buttons version 1.5.1 but requires WordPress version 4.3 or above. You might encounter some issues, as tinyMCE has fixed several issues related to the table plugin – Please see release notes: https://www.tinymce.com/docs/changelog/ Frontier Buttons comes with plugin from tinyMCE version 4.2.5 which is the latest version supported by WordPress. I have included plugins from tinyMCE version 4.3.3, and they will work with WordPress version 4.5 when released (I tested this on the alpha version and it works) What version of tinyMCE does WordPress use? Maybe we need a plugin that installs the latest version in place of the older one? WP version 4.4 uses tinyMCE 4.2.x WP 4.5 will use tinyMCE 4.3.3 – I have tested it with the alpha version of WP 4.5. tinyMCE 4.3.3 will also include codestyling
