The schedule feature used to work well but since WP 5.5 WordPress’s own auto-updates take precedence and updates happen at random times instead of at the time scheduled in your plugin. It does not seem possible to disable WordPress’s own auto-updates if using this plugin. On the plugin list page, the “Auto Updates” column shows “Enabled” for all plugins if WP Auto Updater is active. Please could you provide an update to WP Auto Updater for WP5.5+ to force automatic updates to happen at the scheduled day/time? Thanks! Hi, @aaceuk Thank you for your issue. The possible causes are the cron schedule was updated somewhere else. In that case, the cron schedule does not match the one set in WP Auto Updater. Please try setting again from the settings screen of WP Auto Updater.
