This is obviously due to the complete redesign of the backend by the WP team. Will this plugin be updated or do I need to create my own solution? http://wordpress.org/plugins/bootstrap-admin/ Looks like it will be next year, updated to Bootstrap 3. Sorry for posting too quickly.
