supportDear, I got a good improvement in page checking with META description in almost any page. The only page I am missing the META description is in the shop page (slug is “mercato” in my website). Can you check? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hi, I thought the Woo shop page was a regular page, so if you activate the post/page excerpt setting it will show the custom excerpt. But I now notice the shop page is an archive page, so it doesn’t work there. I have to make some changes to support the shop page. Will update it later this week. Thanks for letting me know. Guido

I need just a simple plugin like your VSMD, I like your implementation and I would like to support your work with 2 simple greetings: – my localization for italian language => just now completed for your approval – my suggestion to improve the Woocommerce integration with a change in Product META description calculation: From: <Simple description> To: <Title> (option) + <Simple description> (option) So that it may produce one of three different META description: a. <Title> b. <Simple description> c. <Title> + <Simple description> Check the use of <Simple description> in Woocommerce products and may be you will agree that a so simple change for you will gain a lot of more opportunity to be choosen. Hi Carmine, First, thank you for your translation. A so called translation editor must approve the strings. So we have to wait until this person has time to do it. After approval you will receive a translation update in your site dashboard. For now I have fixed the meta description for the Woo shop page. I will think about your other suggestions, but this will not be added anytime soon. Guido

Hi Carmine, Please update to version 6.0 because it will crash your site when not having WooCommerce installed. Guido
