review · 5 starsHi there, good plugin but when i increase and decrease the screen size the header width is not responsive and breaks, can you help me with this please.
Hi, do you have a link to your site so I can look at the code? Thanks
Sure here it is, https://dylanm42.sg-host.com/ if you change screen width. it breaks the width. This reply was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by davidkirkp1983 .
Sorry should have said, your plugin is on homepage and the elementor one with custom code is on the other pages which does not have this issue. I added max-width 100% which seems to have done the trick
Looking at your code I see a width set on the header element itself that is overriding my plugin width setting of 100%. If I disable it in the devtools then my plugin takes over and seems to work correctly. I can add !important to my plugin width and add a max-width as well. I don’t think it would hurt anything.
Hi Robert, i don’t actually have the width active on my homepage header as i have used custom css and uncommented out these lines. only thing i have left is to style the hamburger icon to black on scroll. see attached. the header width is still breaking when re-sizing the screen on your plugin. My code thats in the custom css within elementor tab, any help would be great as be good use a plugin for these settings and not using custom code. / .header-custom.elementor-sticky–effects { / / background-color: rgba(0,0,0,1); / / transition: all .5s ease; / / box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.1); / } / .header-custom.elementor-sticky–effects .logo img { / / content:url(‘ https://dylanm42.sg-host.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/black-easyheat-logo.svg’ ;); / / } / / .header-custom.elementor-sticky–effects { / /* min-width: 100% !important;*/ / } / .elementor-sticky–effects .elementor-icon svg { fill: black !important; } Link to image https://ibb.co/R2bnSmM This reply was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by davidkirkp1983 . Hey Robert, im switching back to my original heading, can you let me know when you have an update so the width doesnt break anymore please.
Ok, I actually added the max-width to the plugin code. https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sticky-header-effects-for-elementor/trunk/assets/css/she-header-style.css I thought that fixed your problem.
Hi there, no this is still breaking even after the most recent update
is it this site? https://dylanm42.sg-host.com
yes thats the one i have re-added your plugins header to the homepage again. If you re-size the screen width the width will break. I have updated the most recent version you released to.
actually it seems to have fixed itself now. Could you test at your end if tats OK?
its working fine for me. I can test more tomorrow. It’s late here now. Hopefully it’s fixed now.
thanks for all your help 🙂
