supportthe weather widgets on my website are not showing data — also on https://bulldogottawa.com/bulldog-weather-ottawa-and-the-world/ as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. it’s a very good plugin. cheers ken gray The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Folks: I have updated the weather pro widget and now all I’m getting is the name of the widget and a hotkey to your website. Will you be continuing your plugin in the old format or will it just be a referral hotkey? I have no data and no format for the plugin. You can see what I have at https://bulldogottawa.com/bulldog-weather-ottawa-and-the-world/ and on the home page https://bulldogottawa.com/ I find your plugin everything a website needs for weather and more but I can’t use it if it is just a referral key to your website. That’s not a plugin but a hotkey. Please get it back to what it was. It has been a trouble-free, excellent plugin. Cheers and thx Ken Gray

Hello kengray20, the problem is your server cURL configuration. You have the following error “cURL error 7: Failed to connect to eltiempoen.com port 9090 after 0 ms: Couldn’t connect to server”. The new version of the plugin uses the WP function wp_remote_get, which internally uses cURL, to call to our API and cache the response. You can rollback to version 1.1.31 or ask your host to enable cURL in your PHP configuration.
Hello kengray20, we added a backup API call in version 1.1.35 triggered when cURL fails. Anyway, you should contact with your host provider and ask them enable cURL. Thanks for your feedback!
