A customer redeemed a voucher code yesterday. It clearly shows on the total at the bottom as being ‘applied’ but she was then charged the full amount of the order. My Yith shows the voucher has been redeemed. But obviously I’ve had to refund the customer and lost payment fees. Any ideas why this has happened and can I stop it happening again or do I stop offering vouchers? Hello there, thanks for contacting us! That’s strange, it shouldn’t happen. Are you using the latest version of WC, WP, and our plugin? What payment method did your client use in addition to the gift card? Are you using WC blocks? We’ll be waiting for your response. Best regards. Very strange and I’ve tried myself to replicate it, though I didn’t actually process a payment, did a ‘bank transfer’ option but invoice/email order etc all looked fine. I cannot understand how this happened. Customer used apple pay via Stripe. Everything is up to date. I don’t have WC Blocks installed. Really stumped – can’t replicate it but can’t see how she managed to apply the voucher but it didn’t take it off. Will leave all alone for now and wait (probably another 9 months!!) to see if next customer with voucher has an issue…unless you can think of anything? Hello there, Perhaps your Stripe plugin has a test mode for testing payments? If so, I recommend running a test to see what happens. Please let us know. Best regards.
