review · 1 starsThis plugin doesn’t work well enough to justify the barrage of self-promotion from its author. It will fill the top of the admin page with advertising. There is no way to opt-out. I’m removing it so that I can reclaim the most important space on the screen.
@budasy Is the plugin working fine or not working well? Is your review not about the plugin, or how it works, is it just for a popup? Do you know what “Spam” means? 🙂
I applied the principles of Marie Kondo. I asked myself – does this plugin bring me joy? No. It does not bring me joy. Just like spam, it interferes with my work. It intrudes on my working space with unwanted advertising. I have to scroll past the enormous billboard that the plugin inserts on the page. If I click the billboard closed it opens again the next time I open the dashboard. That is not working well for me.
@budasy the banner is not huge (on a standard 1920×1024 monitor), the close button hides it for at least 5 days (do you have cookies disabled?). It could be a compatibility problem (device or browser). Writing a 1 star “spam” review without reasons gives you joy I hope then 🙂
100% agree. Please remove the spam banner.
Hi @budasy and @hanschristian 🙂 The banner has been removed, thanks for reporting. I would love if you change your review. See you soon.
The banner is still in place, even after the last update. Even worse: the “don’t show for 5 days” link does not work. It always has WordPress spit out “The link you followed has expired.”
Hi @bramus thanks for using this plugin. I make some test but cant reproduce this bug, can you upload a screenshot to any image hosting service and past here the link? I want to solve the problem
Hi @bramus Thanks for reporting, the problem has been solved with version 2.1.16 🙂 If you find the plugin useful and want to support development, don’t forget to leave your review.
