Hello My Advanced Google reCAPTCHA is showing this error: “This version contains a known vulnerability CVE-2026-5411. Updating the plugin to a version higher than 5.39 is strongly recommended. The full report is here . Have questions? Ask us here . “ There is no option to update the plugin and I am not that tech savy to understand the report and how to correct this. Can someone provide some step by step assistance to correct this issue please? We’ve fixed this issue. Click “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings, wait until the rotating icon disappears and refresh the page. If you still see a warning after that, please deactivate the CleanTalk plugin using the Complete Deactivation option: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Security by CleanTalk —> General Settings —> enable “Complete Deactivation” —> Save Changes. Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Security by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Activate This option will reset all plugin settings. Don’t forget to insert your access key. Did it help you? I followed all of your steps 3 separate times, restarted my computer twice, logged in and out of my wordpress dashboard, and tried the same steps on a different browser (safari, I currently use google chrome). Even after following all of yours steps and resetting everything the ways I mentioned, I am still getting the same error. Do you have any other suggestions? Hello Thank you for your reply and information.
