supportI tried updating from version 1.3 to version 2 on http://www.ladysmithdowntown.com/ and the site came down. Had to delete the plugin. Is there a way to get 1.3 back? https://wordpress.org/plugins/random-banner/
I Concur. When I try to create a new Banner, on save I get a polite message that says something went wrong.
OK. I deactivated the Plugin and reactivated it. It now seems to work correctly. This is a big improvement on the previous version. Thankyou.

Yes, I had to delete then re-install and add banner ads back in but it works great. Thank you for your excellent support.
Like others, I installed the new version and my website went away. One site of my multisite installation somehow survived, but the Network Admin pages were gone and I couldn’t recover by deactivating the plugin the way I did the last time this happened (with a different plugin). I recovered my sites by by renaming the random-banner plugin folder. I’ll see if deleting and re-installing fixes it. I guess this means reconfiguring the plug-in from scratch as well. –Nope. I received this message when I reinstalled: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /hsphere/local/home/rscowden/far2go.net/blog/wp-content/plugins/random-banner/include/widget/random_banner_widget.php on line 52 I don’t have time to work with it, so I’m giving up for now.
