Validation not working

Hi, I added the Telephone field in form & Enabled jQuery validation. The validation works by highlighting the text field in red if I enter an invalid phone number. However, despite the error message, the form still submits even with the wrong information. Ideally, the form should be prevented from submitting until a valid phone number is entered.
