It manages to add a link to wp-admin, but still remains accessible from the classic wp-admin @luigimdg thank you for review. I wonder why 90.000 people is using my plugin is probably because is “Useless” Even this answer is useless, you could have shown you the solution instead @luigimdg Thank you for replying back. Let me see if I can understand you. So, you are using a free plugin available for you/anyone for free, developed for you/anyone for free, maintain for you and for everyone for free. I’m sorry if the plugin is not suitable for you. Next time if you open a support request I may be able to help. Merry Xmas to you too I see you took it badly, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you.. You even searched my site to try to humiliate me.. Ridiculous.. Merry Xmas to you! 😊😘 Actually the main purpose of the plugin is to masking the login URL so no louzy hacker can guess what it is and launch a DDOS login attack and make the site slow. It doesn’t really matter that the url changes back to wp-admin after you login since you are the authorized user it shouldn’t matter! it is because programmatically the wp core and all plugins are hard coded to work with the original /wp-admin/ and changing that will break the admin and all plugins as well. @nocturnal009 thank you very much for taking your time explaining the purpose of the plugin – something I should have done it in the first place. But there are always been people like @luigimdg that instead of understanding they start to complaining about everything. Complaining is good but only if know what you’re complaining about 🙂 @nocturnal009 in that case, you’re just adding a login URL, you’re not masking the wp-admin, so hackers can continue to brute force safely This reply was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by Luigi Donato . Dear Nuno, You are welcome. Question, I just found out that the logged in session is not recognized by the masked URL after initial login. So if you visit the masked URL, it will take you back to login screen. But if you visit yoursite.com/wp-admin then it will not ask you to login again. Are you aware of this? If you are are you willing to fix this in the future if it is possible technically? Thank you for this amazing plugin! Ahahah.. Nuno Nuno.. 😛 Hi @nocturnal009 , Would you mind to open a support request under the plugin support page so I can then when I have time look into? Thank you again, Nuno This reply was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by Nuno Sarmento .
