In the version number, please use major version when introducing breaking changes. E.g. When you in 2.7.2 changed the minimum WordPress version from 6.3 to 6.4, it’s a breaking change and the version should change to 3.0.0 🙂 In the enterprise, we move slower than the rest, and I had to do a redeployment (my acceptance test caught the “error”: Failed to activate plugin. Current WordPress version (6.3.5) does not meet minimum requirements for Simple Page Ordering. The plugin requires WordPress 6.4 .)
