supportHello guys, if I have, for example, an image called image.jgp wordpress automatically set a link for this image to http://www.domain.com/image/ Now, if I edit the alt tag of that image, the url automatically changes to http://www.domain.com/image-2/ Is this the correct behavior? And if yes, why? And, last question, does it hurt SEO or other things? Thanks! 🙂 This topic was modified 3 years ago by ernexto .
Hello @ernexto , Thank you for your interest in our plugin 🙂 Regarding your concern, updating the image title, alt, caption, or description using our plugin will not alter the image URL. The image’s URL will remain the same as earlier. If you are experiencing a specific issue, there might be a conflict with another plugin or theme, or there could be an existing image with the same URL. We recommend testing your website in a staging environment, deactivating plugins one by one, to identify any conflicting plugins. Rest assured, our plugin is designed to improve SEO by allowing you to assign accurate titles, alt tags, captions, and descriptions to your images. We appreciate your feedback and support.
