Hello, Earlier this year, Printify said that “We have recently begun deleting customer data on orders completed or canceled more than 30 days ago. This is because we are required to follow international standards, including GDPR, on Personally Identifiable Information (PII).” Since that time, you will no longer see customer details for orders in your Printify account. The problem with this is that now, IT IS ALSO DELETING CUSTOMER INFO AND ALL OFTHEIR USER DETAILS FROM OUR WORDPRESS WEBSITE. All orders and user info for orders manually processed through Printify as well as those done via plugins with our other print partners are FINE. Only the orders automatically processed using the plugin had this issue. While I understand that they have to make these updates to their own system to remain compliant, they should not be able to completely delete users and order info from your website. They are not only deleted from your Woo Commerce customer list, but deleting them from your registered users. It is deleting users that you worked hard to gain. We can’t even send emails to these customers about future promotions because they’ve been deleted from our site. I have contacted them about this issue with no avail. See screenshots: https://ibb.co/wC4g7Sc https://ibb.co/1bC4bKp https://ibb.co/9gFCvrY After a few months, I realized the problem ended up being my fault. If your user info is being deleted, check your Woo Commerce settings. WooCommerce —>Settings —> Accounts & Privacy Under the “Personal Data Retention” section, make sure all fields are marked “N/A”. If you have set numbers in any of those fields, the customer / order data for those fields will be deleted after the time you set in those fields. To keep the customer/order info indefinitely, be sure to set fields to “N/A”.
