supportHi there, I’m working on a local WordPress staging site using WooCommerce and Tutor LMS. All of the products on the site are digital, and in addition to paid courses, I also offer free courses for various reasons. In many cases, users will be checking out with only a free product. However, I’ve run into an issue where Stripe Tax requires a full billing address (and sometimes a phone number), even for $0.00 orders. Since Stripe doesn’t process free orders, this requirement seems unnecessary and introduces friction for users who just want access to a free course. I’ve tried disabling Stripe Tax for free orders, but the checkout still fails unless a fallback address is provided. This workaround isn’t ideal. Is there a way—either currently available or planned—to bypass the billing address (and phone number) requirement for orders with a $0 total? This would be a huge help for digital product sellers like myself who want to streamline the experience for users accessing free content. Thanks for your time and support!
