supportWe have recently been having a very slow ‘time to first bite issue’ on our website (around 20 seconds). After much troubleshooting, we have determined that if we deactivate our WP Stateless plugin, this issue is resolved (TTFB = 2 seconds) From what I can see all our data has been optimised. I hope someone can help us fix this issue? We have no idea what to do next. The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Thanks for the report! I have a few followup inquiries… Please share the Status report from the WP-Stateless > Status tab. Have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one? Perhaps there is a conflict with another plugin or your theme. Knowing this would help us improve our implementation. Have you experienced this slowness since installing WP-Stateless? or is it from a recent upgrade?
Hi Eric, thanks for following up. This one is very strange. Below is the status report. This is from our dev server which has the same issue. We have tried all sorts of combinations with plugins. But it just became really obvious that as soon as we deactivate WP Stateless we had no issue with TTFB. Very strange! We have been running WP Stateless for a good couple of years now. ### Server Server architecture: Linux 5.10.184-175.731.amzn2.x86_64 x86_64 Web server: Apache/2.4.57 () OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips MySQL version: 10.6.16-MariaDB-log PHP Version: 8.0.28 PHP Memory Limit: 384M PHP Max Input Vars: 1000 PHP Max Post Size: 256M PHP Time Limit: 3000 Max Upload Size: 256M Allow URL-aware fopen Wrappers: Yes Loaded Extensions: Core, date, libxml, openssl, pcre, zlib, filter, hash, json, Reflection, SPL, session, standard, cgi-fcgi, bz2, calendar, ctype, curl, dom, mbstring, fileinfo, ftp, gd, gettext, iconv, exif, mysqlnd, PDO, Phar, SimpleXML, sockets, sqlite3, tokenizer, xml, xmlwriter, xsl, zip, mysqli, pdo_mysql, pdo_sqlite, xmlreader ### WordPress Version: 6.5.5 Multisite: No Memory Limit: 40M Total Attachments: 14915 Image Sizes: thumbnail, medium, medium_large, large, 1536x1536, 2048x2048, large, medium, small, property-small, property-medium, hero, property-hero-slider, alm-thumbnail Theme: Private Property 1.0.1 Active Plugins: Activity Log 2.10.1, Advanced Custom Fields PRO 6.3.3, Ajax Load More 7.1.2, Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection 5.3.2, Change wp-admin login 1.1.8, Classic Editor 1.6.3, Custom Menu Wizard 3.3.1, Disable Comments 2.4.6, EWWW Image Optimizer 7.7.0, Favorites 2.3.4, Gravity Forms 2.8.13, Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types 3.1.29, Gravity Forms Address Enhanced 1.29.2, Gravity Forms Campaign Monitor Add-On 4.0.0, Gravity Forms Postmark Add-On 1.4.0, ManageWP - Worker 4.9.20, ModuloBox 1.6.0, New RoyalSlider 3.3.7, Popup Builder 4.3.2, Post Types Order 2.2.3, Public Post Preview 2.10.0, Public Post Preview Configurator 1.0.3, Query Monitor 3.16.3, Simple Custom Post Order 2.5.7, UpdraftPlus - Backup/Restore 1.24.4, WP-Stateless 4.0.4, WP Console 2.4.1, WP Crontrol 1.16.3, YIKES Simple Taxonomy Ordering 2.3.4, Yoast SEO 23.0 ### WP-Stateless Version: 4.0.4 Database Version: 1.0 Mode: Ephemeral File URL Replacement: Disabled Supported File Types: jpg jpeg png gif pdf Bucket: Set Bucket Accessible: Yes Service Account JSON: Set Cache-Control: Default: public, max-age=36000, must-revalidate Delete GCS File: Enable Folder: /%date_year/date_month%/ Domain: Not set Cache-Busting: Enable Dynamic Image Support: Disable Use Post Meta: Disable Total Files: 9983 Total File Sizes: 86899 Compatibility Files: 298
We have been running WP Stateless for a good couple of years now. What changed? When did it start to become slow?
To be honest, it files like when we renewed an SSL certificate. However I am not sure how that could be related? Either way we have test with a different SSL cert and even direct with http … Very confusing for us!
Hello @jeremystewart , We released the new version 4.1.1, which includes some load optimization. Please let us know does this release solves your issue. Thanks!
