I just added a post today, but predated the post such that it should appear as December 2019, and appear first in the list and descend by date as that would be preferable. However after setting the publish date to December 2019, and expecting it to be at the top of the news ( blog posts), it didn’t happen that way. Oct 2019 appears at the top, with December several posts below that. What am i doing wrong here? thanks in advance The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] update: i don’t know exactly why but now its working. i’ve put in place the code, then removed it. ( it was showing stuff on the front end, and also giving me an error in the admin panels). I changed the settings to Menu Order, ASC. and now the publishing date is being used, which is what i wanted. I do NOT understand why it works, as there is no code using MENU ORDER, and further ASC would in my mind anyway, mean that the latest post would be last. /e @eddierosenthal please check the plugin settings. There may be an override there.
