We have a role associated with a LearnDash course but we have needed to change the role associated to a different role, however it’s not updating in discord and has been 24 hours now. How can I get all our students to receive the updated role? Hi, unfortunately, the add-on itself cannot do this update. It is our future project ‘ExpresTech Bot’ which will be able to do this synchronization. To solve this you have between the choices: 1 – ‘RUN API’ button for concerned students. 2 – Ask students to log out/log in (from their account profile) We’ve got over 1000 students so both of those ideas are going to be difficult. Is there a way to trigger the RUN API button for all students? Thank you for reaching out. I understand that managing over 1000 students can be challenging. However, the current Add-on does not support triggering the RUN API button for all students simultaneously. Attempting a massive API call at once may lead to failures. Additionally, it’s important to note that the Add-on does not provide real-time updates for roles, and it may not be as effective for larger servers. The bot is optimized for smaller servers with 100 or fewer members, where it performs well. Ok. The RUN API button is only adding the roles to about half our members. We’ve been using the plugin for the last 14 months or so. Is there an API error log that can be viewed to see what the problem is? Also, if a user disconnects from discord, it doesn’t seem to remove their roles. Is that intended? Log tab. also check ‘Failed Action’ for learnDash discord add-on
