review · 1 starsYou need to first convert your icon to an SVG, then upload the SVG to an external site, then download a file which you then upload to the plugin settings page on your site. Just too convoluted. I wanted a quick and easy solution. Might as well just insert my icon as an image instead of jumping through all these hoops.
Hey Aaron, If you’re not already creating icons as SVGs, then you are correct, there is an extra step to convert them. And if you’re using those icons as images, and not in the default Elementor widgets that utilize an icon selector, then I also agree it’s better not to use this plugin. Elementor provides documentation for creating your own widgets, perhaps in your case it would make sense to simply create your own for your SVG icons you have made. This plugin was designed to work with Elementor’s icons, which limits what’s possible (since they are webfont based). Different tools for every job, right? The wrong tools don’t deserve 1 star reviews, just move on and find the right tool. Thanks for the feedback.
