Timeout and duplication of items

Hello friend, First, I love your media plugins. I have many thousands of images to work with and the importing and folder options you offer are fantastic. I just encountered my first problem with this specific plugin. The script timed out, and the registration never completed after unzipping. The zip file was deleted (I believe by the plugin). So I reuploaded the zip file again, and I thought it would unzip, then check to see if the media is registered already (like your bulk registration plugin checks for existing files), but your zip file plugin does not check if media is in the library already. So I have many duplicate items. Lucky, I’m testing this on a staging site, so no problems to my production site. But I think a feature of this plugin should be to check for duplicate items like your other plugins. Thank you.
