This Plugin is not a MALWARE: Explaination

Some users are claiming this plugin is the reason for a hack. This is not true. What appears to be going on is that the people claiming the plugin contains malware are confusing this plugin with a malicious plugin with the same name being added to websites after they have been hacked. You’ll need to find out how the malicious plugin (pretending to be “ protect uploads “) could have been injected into your site(s).
