supportHi, I’m on your free tier. Today I removed Google Analytics from my website and turned off Google Consent Mode so I wanted to update my banner. When I originally scanned in February the scan found a number of third-party cookies set by the embedded Zeffy form, including a LinkedIn bcookie that requires notification and opt-out. When I re-scanned my site today none of the cookies on that page were detected. I did a single page scan to be sure. When I inspect site data, all of the the cookies are still being set, plus a new one from .clarity.ms which also requires opt-out. Now my cookie list has been deleted and my banner is useless. What happened? ETA: Banner is currently off since it doesn’t do anything. The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hi @oneheart778 , We reviewed the website and the page you mentioned, but at the moment, we are unable to detect any cookies being set on the website from our end. Could you please check the website again using an Incognito/Private browsing window and share: The exact page URL where you are seeing the cookies being set A screenshot from the browser developer tools/application tab showing the cookies being created This will help us investigate the issue further and understand why the cookies are not appearing in the scan results.
Hi, thanks for responding! Here’s what I’m seeing when I open Chrome in Guest Mode and go to https://oneheartsangha.org/donations/ . It takes a little while for Zeffy to set all the cookies. Google is also setting an NID cookie, and Hubspot, Stripe, and Hcaptcha are setting a few, none of which I’m concerned about. Let me know if this helps. It’s the ones from Linkedin and Microsoft that I’m afraid require an opt-out.
Hi @oneheart778 , Nick here from the CookieYes team. I’m following up on this thread while Ryan is unavailable. From what we can see, lazy loading appears to be enabled through the Smush Lazy Load plugin. In some cases, lazy loading can delay third-party scripts and cookies from loading until user interaction (such as scrolling) occurs. Because of this, certain cookies may not be detected during an automated scan. As a first step, please try temporarily disabling the Smush Lazy Load feature (or related lazy loading settings) and then run the scan again to see if the missing cookies are detected properly. If the cookies are still not detected after disabling lazy loading, please let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate further. Thanks!
Hi @oneheart778 , It has been quite some time since our last communication, so we will mark this thread as resolved. Please open a new thread if you are still facing issues or have questions that you need us to answer.
