Hi I am very new to this, so please bear with me if my question is somewhat basic. I installed [bibleverseoftheday] as a short code onto a test page and it works exactly as I and you expected 🙂 However, when trying to use the widget in the sidebar I am getting lost/confused. Having installed the plugin, i can see the two widgets. so far so good. Now, in Appearance > widgets I drag either to the sidebar. If I run any page then nothing is being displayed. I assume that I need to add some code to the sidebar_page.php page. However if I add the php code:<?php echo bible_verse_of_the_day(0); ?> to my sidebar_page.php page, then I don’t get any options regarding the Title, links etc. Can you possibly tell me what I am doing wrong ( I am sure that it something I am doing) Thanks http://wordpress.org/plugins/bible-verse-of-the-day/ For installing a widget, dragging it to the sidebar, and clicking save should be enough to get it working. You will only need the php code to use it at places where you can’t use widgets… I hope this helps?
