Hello, We use this plugin on our website to calculate taxes on products. On the checkout page the tax amounts shown to users are correct but the final amount charged to user doesnt include the tax amount. This has happened to all the orders placed through our website. Can you help resolve as to why the amount is not being added to final amount? Hi, If I understand correctly, the issue is that sales tax is calculated and appears in the total on the cart/checkout pages but is not persisted to the order after checkout. Is that right? If so, that typically indicates that data SST relies on got deleted. Try deactivating and reactivating SST to recreate the data and see if that helps. If that doesn’t work then please send a copy of the your WooCommerce System Status report (WooCommerce > Status) to brett@thepluginpros.com so I can see if there’s anything about your system setup that might be problematic. I think the problem is likely with either Shipping Packages for WooCommerce or the Square for WooCommerce. There are known compatibility issues between SST and both of these plugins: – https://github.com/bporcelli/simplesalestax/issues/98 – https://github.com/bporcelli/simplesalestax/issues/86 Perhaps you have a staging environment where you can deactivate the plugins one by one and see if anything changes? For what it’s worth, I’m aiming to address the compatibility issues in the next week or so. Hi, I tried reproducing this issue with the APIExperts Square for WooCommerce plugin w/ both the Credit Card and G Pay payment options this morning but could not. The amount charged to the customer always included the tax calculated by SST. By chance are you syncing your orders from WooCommerce to Square? If so it’s possible the customer is being charged the correct amount and it’s just not showing on the order in Square. I don’t have the premium version of Square for WooCommerce with the order syncing capabilities so I was unable to confirm this possibility. Alternatively, are the affected orders using the Apple Pay payment option? I wasn’t able to test with Apple Pay due to issues setting it up in my local environment, so perhaps the issue lies with the Square Apple Pay payment method specifically.
