supportHello! Would be lovely that WordPress, with Twenty Twenty theme, supports in its social menu, the https://spectrum.chat/ icon. Thank you!
Sorry, this question belongs to Twenty Twenty theme, not this plugin. Reopened here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/support-spectrum-chat-in-twenty-twenty-social-menu-2/
We are currently doing something similar with Twenty Seventeen. Unfortunately in Twenty Twenty the authors have not allowed for filtering of the social menu to allow for adding new icons. That doesn’t mean, however, that it’s not possible 🙂 We could probably create some JavaScript to do what’s required in the browser. We’ll keep an eye on this thread and if you don’t have any luck, let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Oliver
Thank you @domainsupport , your level of compromise with your plugin is impressive. Let’s see if WordPress adds supports for these new platforms. Thanks again.

Hmm, interesting. If you don’t want to wait until they add this functionality, we can probably sort a JavaScript solution in the meantime? Let me know.
Thanks @domainsupport , no, no need to worry… for me it is fine to wait. I just wanted to let you know the decision of the WordPress team. Thank you again and stay safe!
Hi Diana, Just to let you know that this functionality was not included in the latest version of Twenty Twenty (v1.4) that dropped last night. Are you sure you don’t want us to create a temporary JavaScript solution to this? When they do add the filter functionality it wouldn’t be much work to redevelop the plugin to use that rather than the custom JavaScript solution. Oliver
Thank you @domainsupport , Well, maybe it could be a nice improvement to support more social profiles in Twenty Twenty theme thanks to your plugin. This way we benefit all. As you are the plugin owner, you decide. Thank you again for your commitment.
OK … so … Good news: All done, works like a charm. Bad news: It’s relatively complicated so we’ve moved it to the premium plugin. Hope you don’t mind! Good news: We can take requests for new icons easily as we now have the engine to inject them. Bad news: Because this is now a premium plugin feature we can no longer talk about it in this forum (WordPress support forum rules). Sorry! Oliver
