supportHello, Are there any plans to add support for variations (variable products)? i.e. being able to wishlist a specific variation rather than the whole variable product.
At the moment no plans for supporting product variations. I presume you mean storing an entire product variation on the wishlist. Kind regards, Joris
Let’s say I sell T-shirts. Each product is a specific design and on the product page I have color and size variations to choose. If I have 2 colors and 3 sizes for a design, that makes 6 possible variations combinations. I’d need the wishlist button to be dependent of the variations combination, i.e. on the “Design #1” T-shirt, I’d need to be able to wishlist the “Red / XL version”, or the “Blue / S” version rather than the “Design #1” product itself. And in the wishlist page, to have a link to the specific variation. Or, to say it differently, treating each variations combination as a different product when it comes to the wishlist. I’m currently using a different wishlist plugin that allows this but yours seems more streamlined and maybe better for my case apart from that limitation.
Thanks for your reply. I understand and I am glad to hear this plugin works more streamlined. At the moment I am to busy with other projects to build this into the plugin. I might have a look at it in the future, but probably not before the end of the year. I will post a reply in this tread if I build this feature. Kind regards, Joris
Ok. Looking forward to it. 🙂 Regards.
