Subtotal in archive pages

Hello, I really would like the subtotal to show in archive pages, but it only shows in single product pages. I mean the field is there, but it’s not populated by a value. As per your documentation it should be possible (“How to hide the products’ main price on archive pages (suitable when displaying their subtotal)”), so what am I doing wrong? Thank you! You are right, I changed the theme to Storefront and it works now in archives, thank you. Is there a way to make it work in a product grid that isn’t archive? (e.g. upsells in single product page, and latest products in the home page.) Thank you. Actually I decided to display the product grid instead of archive grid in archive pages, because of unrelated other problems.
