I even tried to uninstall and reinstall this plugin and it is not working. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mailfrom-ii/ Was reading the support topics and the one that says: I currently installed the MailFrom II plug in and activate it. I followed the instruction but the email from the site is still appearing from username@box###.BlueHost.com instead of the email I have in the script. is exactaly my problem, although the email address i am trying to send from DOES exist in my cpanel.. For the record this plugin worked for a very long time until it stopped working… Not sure if it was an update in the plugin or wordpress. You can try re-installing an older version of the plugin to see if that rectified the issue, which would narrow it down to an issue with a plugin update. If that does’t work it will narrow it down to a WordPress update or something BlueHost has changed, which may help get closest to the cause. This might have something to do with Google. Although I have this pluginactivated and set, I cannot send to gmail addresses as Google bounces it because invalid FROM address. This from my server mail.log (while plugin activated and set)> Dec 13 02:56:37 loft7376 postfix/smtp[1939]: CD7D137409D0: to=<XXXXXXXX@gmail.com>, relay=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.136.26]:25, delay=0.36, delays=0.25/0.01/0.08/0.02, dsn=5.1.2, status=bounced (host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.136.26] said: 553 5.1.2 The address specified is not a valid RFC-5321 address. z133si15707954wmc.82 – gsmtp (in reply to MAIL FROM command And Google has made changes to their policies in early NOvember: Yes, in the past week we’ve rolled out a change which enforced validation of the MAIL FROM argument to be a valid RFC 5321 email address. This validation occurs across all SMTP servers Gmail operates, so for inbound MX servers, smtp.gmail.com MSA submission servers and GfW SMTP Relay servers. Previously, we were doing validation at later stages which could cause message bounces and other issues. Any news on this? I think many people could have the problem with sending to gmail addresses now.
