Any idea on how to get this plugin from spamming my WordPress Dashboard? Since installed it there is a MASSIVE banner on the dashboard (and other backend pages) with text – “Subscribe to get latest BeRocket news and updates, plugin recommendations and configuration help, promotional email with discount codes.” Doesn’t even work since adding an email and hitting subscribe doesn’t do anything. And dismissing it only makes it disappear until the next page load. Pretty embarrassing for the developer to be this aggressive. How do I make this disappear? Hi. Sorry about this. The subscribe form is optional and dismissing the notice should hide it permanently for that admin user. If it reappears when closed, then something is preventing the dismiss state from being saved. This can happen if the admin AJAX request is blocked or is affected by another plugin/security rule. I tested it locally and could not reproduce the issue yet, but we definitely want to investigate and fix it. Could you please send us: The plugin version you are using Your WordPress and WooCommerce versions Whether there are any errors in the browser console after clicking “dismiss” or “subscribe” If possible, a screenshot of the Network request to admin-ajax.php when clicking dismiss Again, sorry for the inconvenience. This is not intended behavior and we’ll review the notice so it does not keep appearing when it should be dismissed. Regards, Dmytro Just installed your plugin, so most recent version. Version 10.9.3 Woocommerce. WordPress 7.0 Just reinstalled. Same thing happening. Hi, Thank you. About points #3 and #4 — do you know how to check errors in the browser developer tools? In most browsers, you can right-click anywhere on the admin page and choose Inspect or Inspect element . This will open the developer tools, usually at the bottom or side of the browser window. https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/console Please open the Console tab there. Then click the banner close/dismiss button again. If there are any errors, they will usually appear in red. Please copy those errors and send them to us. Also, please check the Network tab. After clicking the dismiss button, there should be a request to admin-ajax.php . That request may contain useful information about why the banner is not being dismissed properly. If possible, please send us a screenshot of that request, especially the Status , Response , and Payload/Form Data sections. This will help us understand why it works on our side but not on your site. Regards, Dmytro
