This plugin is using hard-coded non-SSL calls to images. See https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/visual-verse-of-the-day-widget/trunk/vv-widget.php for the <img src="http://..." ...> calls. It appears you have SSL enabled on the origination site for the images, so you should change the references to the images to use SSL only. This is a known security vulnerability (see: https://www.paulirish.com/2010/the-protocol-relative-url/ and http://www.netresec.com/?page=Blog&month=2015-03&post=China%27s-Man-on-the-Side-Attack-on-GitHub for details). If you need help making changes to call the images over SSL, let me know.
