supportHello, I am still expecting some update for Social Warfare, could it be coming anytime soon? I noticed that the social proof counter is not incrementing when readers click on any of my social icons… Is this some kind of known bug? Hi @roro111 we do not have anyone reporting this issue. We track all known bugs on our GitHub channel. Have you checked your settings in the dashboard? Make sure that the “button counts” are turned on for your site. If this does not solve the issue, please contact us at support@warfareplugins.com Sorry for the frustration you are experiencing
Hello, thanks for the reply, The toggle labeled ” social count” is already on. I assume it is supposed to sum up all the social shares. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be working right now: no sign of evolution of any post count despite seeing some shares done for a given post (eg:on Matomo)….. I am using a security plugin: iThemes Security. Could some of its settings be the cause of my counters being stuck ? Thanks RP
Do you have the share count minimum set to 0? We have a great function that allows you to hide share counts until your post is shared a minimum amount of time.
I tried to set it to 0, then set it to 1. It still seems stuck. Could you please try to share any of my page, then go back 1 hour later and see if it did increment the count or not? It doesn’t seem to be the case Thanks
