review · 4 starsPlugin installs and works on a multi-site 4.0-beta-3 site with the plugin activated in only one site. Putting the Google Docs credentials in the wp-config.php files as described here . It only imports text from gDoc files – choked on a nested folder and a PDF file. Each gDoc was placed into a “Uncategorized” Draft post. The cron jobs update modified/added files every minute – BUT IT CREATES A NEW REVISION OF EVERY DOC EVERY MINUTE!!! The solution is to turn off (deactivate) the “Docs to WordPress extender – Run on Cron (every minute)” plugin until it is needed. To do a refresh, just turn it on for a minute. My database *might* handle a revision each day, so a modification to the “extend-cron.php” script might be workable. The deal-breaker problem for me, however, is that one main use of gDocs is to document shortcodes, which get expanded/executed in the imported posts! Probably would not be worth the effort to make this an option… {sigh} Otherwise. potentially a great plugin if the development and documentation could be kept going. What I really need is a Table of Contents of my gDocs… {research continues}
