The widget should sort by the highest rating, but it sorts only by the number of ratings. Five years ago this was posted: https: wordpress org/support/topic/sort-custom-post-type-on-average-rating/ [stupid wordpress does not allow links….] I am not savvy enough to implement it. I think many users would like to have more control over the way the highest rating is displayed. Is this going to be implemented in the (near) future? Are you referring to the top-rated widget?
