Hello, Since a few days ago (not sure when it started), the Meta for WooCommerce plugin has been causing severe slowdowns on the frontend of my site. Category and product pages are taking 20–30+ seconds to load. When I deactivate the plugin, the site returns to normal speed immediately. This topic was modified 2 months, 3 weeks ago by gatsman . Experienced the same thing at 8:10AM ET. Disabled the Meta for WooCommerce plugin (version 3.5.17) and everything was back to normal speeds. This reply was modified 2 months, 3 weeks ago by derekg1023 . Same problem. Finding the same here, the response from our hosting company: 2 cookies are being set in the response header which is making the public cache like Varnish and Cloudflare to be bypassed, hence the page doesn’t load from the cache and the site loads slow. This plugin is nothing but a headache. @viablethought Even with cache disabled, Facebook requests lasting more than 20 seconds are blocking the website from loading… Same problem. 30s with plugin active 2s without plugin active This reply was modified 2 months, 3 weeks ago by gemedj89 . Hi everyone – thank you for reaching out. We have noted the issue and are working on a fix, we will update this thread as soon as it has been resolved. Kind regards, Marija @lacoderia – Cache doesn’t matter because the plugin is bypassing it. Convincing our client to just delete this plugin and be done with it. Everything Meta is garbage and I wish people would just stop using their products/platforms. Also experiencing this issue. Our Host also identified that cookies are preventing batcache from working. Hi everyone – just wanted to share that the issue has been resolved. Please feel free to re-activate the plugin. Kind regards, Marija Hello @marijastuntcoders I’ve had the same issues also. Very slow when your plugin is activated. Have you resolved it with the new version now? I have another ticket in place from 4 weeks ago and I’ve received NO response at all from Plugin support. Can you someone from your plugin support please reply to that. This is an urgent issue that no-one has replied to. Could you look into this please? Thanks Hello @kristinubute I’m not part of the plugin support team, but they have resolved the issue on their end (no update required – from what I understand). I use the plugin on multiple sites and am no longer experiencing this problem. It’s true that the major problem of the 20-second loading time has been fixed, but this plugin is still one of the biggest slowdowns on my websites. I don’t understand how it can be so poorly made and optimized. Does someone else tried this code? https://wordpress.org/support/topic/suggestion-regarding-asynchronous-requests-for-the-conversions-api/#post-18842275 Hi everyone, since this issue has been fixed, we will be marking this thread as resolved. If you need any further assistance, please open a new ticket on the forum. Kind regards, Marija
