I believe I found a bug. In Sitemap Settings >Robots.txt > Sitemap Hinting (Add sitemap location to robots.txt) – I have this enabled/selected to add sitemap link to my robots.txt. The problem is this this only works if in Sitemap Settings >General > Sitemap Output (Output optimized sitemap) if this enabled/selected. If I disable/unselect optimized sitemap – then the sitemap location is no longer added to my robots.txt I would like to keep default wordpress sitemap but use the Robots.txt to enable sitemap link inside of it. The good news I can successfully use/enablethe options to block AI/Marketing bot blocking options in the robots.txt with standard WP Sitemap. Hello! Thank you for reporting this issue! I can confirm that this is a bug (regression), and it will be fixed in version 5.1.5 (or 5.2). In this commit , when I overhauled the robots.txt output for TSF v5.1, I made an error in extracting the WordPress Core sitemap URL. We grabbed the sitemap URL from WordPress, but cleaned it up incorrectly, so it was silently discarded every time. This issue has been fixed for the next release . 5.1.5 (or 5.2) will be shipped close to WP 7.0’s release. Awesome. Thanks for your amazing work and time. I appreciate you. Hello brother, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to follow up with you in regards to this update/release and when the updated plugin will be coming out? I appreciate you and your hard work. Thank you again for your hard work and this excellent SEO software. I hope you are ok and doing well. Havent seen you around here in a while. I know you were going to push an update once WP 7.0 came out. All the best. Hi @strid3r , Thank you for your concern! 🥰 I took a much-needed break to celebrate late spring. Everything’s great 🙂 I’m continuing my work today. I found that WP 7.0 didn’t break anything critical, only some UI colors and title shifts. It’s not neat, but not critical either. Since I’m picking things up again, I cannot estimate how long it will take for the update to be released. If you’re eager to test the development version of the next update, let me know. I can wait 🙂 I am glad you are good. Take your time and thanks!
