Among other crawler visits the plug-in also can count any blog visit , even from regular web browser , just customize the Bot identifier field, the plug-in is looking for patterns in user-agent string, this makes it alternative to other statistical information provided by web hosting. The version 0.4 provides export of data as XML Spreadsheet file , which is very handy if you want to reset your statistics, but keep the history. In version 0.5 there is ability to block/unblock bots via .htaccess file rules (automatic backup of old file is created). In version 0.6 you can check the blog ranking by using Google PageRank or Alexa.
