Hey Acme fam — I’m really enjoying the plugin and using it to great effect to plug holes in Divi, especially regarding Custom Post Types (which aren’t supported in the Blog module by default, or in the portfolio outside of Projects). I’m seeking to build a “Similar Posts” feature at the end of my single.php, for each Custom Post Type. To do this, I was planning to use a Portfolio, with selection criteria set to Random (since the intelligence to display actual Similar posts is a little more complicated). But the Random doesn’t seem to work — it always defaults to date. Am I doing something wrong? In this case, I don’t need Ascending or Descending, I just want to pull (4) examples from each custom post type, at random. Any help is appreciated. I know this is indeed possible because I was previously using Post Grid plugin to do something similar (but ultimately, I’m moving on because Post Grid is harder to style and to use as a responsive layout). Hi, Scott! Thank you for using my plugin and for reporting this issue… Just a simple typo prevent sorting from working. Anyway, I’ve just released a fix you can download from WP repo. Thank you again for your help, and as always, if you like my plugin, just spread the word. Take care dear. Mirko Mirko — I’ve updated the plugin via Dashboard and it works great. Thanks for the prompt fix! Let the randomness begin 🙂
