Hello, I have on WordPress some special template (mioweb.com), which don’t work with Gutenberg editor, but with classical older version WordPress editor, where are possible only shortcodes, not blocks. ProLocker is super simple plugin and I believe effective, not yet discovered, but this absence of shortcode disqualifies it for using in many special templates and CMS. Is possible to add shortcode functionality there? 🙂 Thx Dear @xtradesman , Thank you for considering using ProLocker in your website. We’re glad to have users like you that empower our plugin development initiatives. At the moment we are not looking to add such functionality, as we wanted to start with Gutenberg, considering other plugins are “legacy” for the moment we developed this one. This was a product choice in our case. If the demand drives up, we’ll definitely take it into consideration. Thank you very much for your feedback, kind regards! This reply was modified 5 years, 8 months ago by frontierthemes . Reason: Choice of word! I would take it, if I didn’t know that writing this answer, took more time than creating a shortcode for this. So you dont want more users, and development of this is discontinued. Thank you for your answer. Dear @xtradesman , We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, as it’s not our intention to disrupt daily operations of your website. In the meantime, the best course of action we recommend is to upgrade to Gutenberg. We know not every site may be ready for this, but at the end of the day it’s where WordPress is headed to. Thanks for you time! Yes, I understand, although I do not agree, thank you. Gutenberg is an editor with whom a large part of the market does not identify at all, so you unnecessarily ignore the evolving market of advanced wordpress extensions such as Divi, Elementor, etc. where Gutenberg plays only the second violin. Have nice day!
