Does the short code still work in the newest version? I tried to put it on a page to sho but nothing shows up! This version 2.0.1 includes much more features that enrich the plugin, such as: Proposal Custom Post Type Colour Option Optional Bootstrap Settings Page DateTime Picker in Debate Edit Page Custom Post Type Debates now are linked to Custom Post Type Proposals Days Counter Mobile responsive debate Limited votes per session And much more In the new version, the shortcode has been changed to [debates_q] you can find it on Settings> OxD Settings in the admin menu of your WP. We recommend you give a chance to this new version and keep us updated with any suggestions you have. Happy debating! It is much better now as far as features and looks but I had probs with adding A and B proposals at bottom of the edit page. The A and B are not there in the dropdown and no box to enter each proposal texx fo ra and b. Also noticed that I could not add a category from the edit page and the “screen options” thing at top right would not drop down. SRy… also is there any way to allow authors access too at least create postures a and b then II admin can create the debates. As a author i can only creat regular blog post and 0 access to the plugin ?!?? Hi givesuccess, Thank you for downloading our plugin. The last version has changed the way Oxford Debate works. It is now possible to add Proposals the same way you would add a new Debate or Post. The Proposals menu is right under Debates menu. Once you have added a Proposal, you will be able to link it at the debate by selecting it from the dropdown in the Debate edit page. It is also possible to assign different colours for each Proposal. As for the “screen options” dropdown and adding a new category from the edit page, I am not able to reproduce the error. You could provide us a temporary WP user in order to take a look at that from the inside. If you do that, please email us at debate@cyberpractices.org . Regarding the ability to create proposals and debates, I think you are right and we will review the roles and permissions for them. I figured out that I had to add a category and a few props and debates for them to show in the dropdowns in the edite screen. I have these plugins installed not all are active (D). I tried to disable and even uninstalled them all but yours and still no fix for my screen options or category create ability from edit screen. I can make an account for you but since it will only work for admin to see/use I can make one if you still cant reproduce. I have a lev 3 VPS from Hostgator.
