Hi Is it possible to only display post from 1 or 2 categories? Thanks https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-filter-search/ Looking for similar thing… any way I can pass a parameter via shortcode? For example: [ajax_filter_search category_name=’cat1, cat2′] Many thanks in advance. Aha great ideas, thanks! I’ll begin working on that along with custom color options for the next release. Probably in the next few days. Any update regarding this? Thanks Still working on it. I’ll have it updated by tomorrow. Just updated to version 1.0.3. You can now select specific categories by adding a “filter_by” attribute to the shortcode. *Note, you need to use the category slug . Category name or ID won’t work. For multiple categories use a comma (“,”) to separate. Hi Thanks. If I add the category slug it only displays 4 entries of that category. And I have about 650+. Also as soon as I update the search results it displays all post from all categories again. Any reason for this? Thanks Hi similar issue. Ii I do [ajax_filter_search filter_by=”tesla”] it shows ALL tesla cars but when I search it shows results in other categories too. Please assist. Hey guys, sorry about the bug. Ok, no problem, could you both reply back with the a url on your site to where you’re using the plugin so I can get a better idea of the issue? http://openfieldza.co.za/GPI/news-archive/ Hi Any News? Yea, still working on this. I’ll post an update here when it’s fixed.
