security deposit

Hi, I have a problem with my site where I use woocommerce bookings, wc vendors and mangopay. I want my rental marketplace users to pay the booking price + a security deposit at checkout when they make a reservation. I read that to do this there is the pre-authorization function of the mangopay plugin which blocks the amount of the deposit on the credit card and if the rental is successful, it returns the deposit to the customer. I don’t understand how it works, how does it work? Thank you
