Hi. I installed your plugin a couple of days ago. For now I see that it works well. However, in the list of blocked ips I see that the plugin blocked some google ips. The matter is that google tried to visit some pages of the old site content that are no longer available (I think pages are still in the google index and thus wp generates 403) 66.249.67.83 last_activity: 0 threat_score: 5 categories: Search Engine My question are: – are the google bots blocked at the moment (threat_score: 5 but non 25)? – Will my site be indexed by google (for now I do not have any notifications from google webmaster that they do not have access to the site)? https://wordpress.org/plugins/automatic-ban-ip/ The threat level is not related to the content visited but only to an obkjective threat level (regardless your site) If the threat level is 5 and if you use default params (i.e. bloking above 25) there is no issue and google will be able to visit your site Thanks for quick reply. So, if the threat level is set to 25 this means that all bots, including search engines bots, will be able to access the site and do their job, correct? For now, I have an ip in the list 172.245.13.114 with the threat level 24. In the internet it is described as spammer. But on my site it is NOT blocked right? Hello, I realized a few days ago that my website wasn’t indexed by Google anymore. After using their “Fetch as Google” tool I saw that Google couldn’t access to my website (access denied). After searching a bit, I desactivated this plugin (Automatic Ban IP) and the Google bot can fetch my website again. I have to precise that I was running the plugin with default parameters :/
