supportas we plan to use this plugin for many different fleets, we have concern on the space needed to store the movement of the fleets. What we really need is the CURRENT LOCATION (or maybe last movements for a few hours). how do we do that? Appreciate your prompt feedback

Hi Christian, I understand your concern about using up to much space from recording all of the location data from your drivers. There are a few parts to this that I would like to address. 1. The data collected amounts to about 1 sentence of text. So it is so small that you probably will not have any issues taking up to much data storage space. Here is a copy of the data that the app sends to the plugin every time the app “pings”. – [date_time] => 1556190464 [lat] => 27.798729850936493 [lng] => -82.71506935365751 [lrc] => raa52787b12f [time] => 2019-04-25 07:06:48 This is it, just about 1 sentence. and you could have 10,000 pages and not take up very much storage space, relatively speaking. 2. I would suggest telling your drivers to keep the app on the “5-minute” setting. But, if for some reason that is taking up to much space for you still. We can create a new time option for your drivers. Instead of the current times available on our GPS app 20seconds, 1-minute and 5-minutes. we can add a 15-minute or a 30-minute even a 1-hour option to the app for your drivers. In regards to you wanting to only to see the “current location” or the “last few hours” on the map. Our GPS software does not have that functionality but we have added that option to other versions of our GPS software that we did for customers. So if you would like that function or option, please let us know and we can talk about exactly what you would like. I hope this answered your question. Thanks
