Rounds Stops Saving Scores. Bug?

Hey Sportspress team! I have three Rounds set up for an 18 hole invitational event. Each round has over 50 players. After about 49 players it stops recording scores. It feels like it has reached a data cap or something (I am obviously not an expert) because it stops saving data right in the middle. In one case it would not record anything past the 6th hole of player 49. I have confirmed the behaviour by turning off all non-Sportspress plugins and using the Rookie theme. Is this a bug? My recommendation is installing it at localhost, where you can increase the memory and max_execution time just to confirm if your server is timing out when saving. One more thing to try, disable all plugins but SportsPress (even the SportsPress for Golf). BTW, what are you using as your max-execution time and memory? Let’s try the other way around if that doesn’t work, try reducing it to see if the data will stop saving earlier (to make sure if this is a max-execution time issue) Kind Regards, -Roch Hi Roch, My max-execution time is 180 and my memory is 128M. I deactivated all the plugins (including SportsPress for Golf) except for Sportspress Pro. The problem still persists. Thanks for all your help, BTW! They have zero care about the golf app. Soccer is where they make their money. I found the exact cause of the bug, and it’s still not fixed or looked into. It fails after you add the 33rd player. 32 players, no issues, you can update, edit, but as soon as you add the 33rd player, you can’t update and everything goes haywire. Not only that simple things that is common place in golf/disc golf aren’t even thought of. Like: – we run so many Doubles events, you can’t even add doubles scores. – I should be able to save a course layout so I don’t have to add the default par for the course every time, I should just be able to select it. – It should show player count when you are adding players Here’s the original list I was keeping Round Feedback – Result list – add count to the left of player name. When added 50+ players I want to verify everyone is added by matching the number here to the number that registered. ○ We can also add this where you select the players just put the count Select Players: [50] – Allow multi Select when selecting players. Selecting 50+ players is super cumbersome and tedious – Bug – updating/change scores does not work after you make the first save in any manner (Preview, Save Draft, or Publish) – Need to be able to asses stroke penalties. As a Tournament Director – after the rounds are complete, we sometimes need to asses penalty strokes to a player. It does not relate to the 18 holes played. I had 5 people submit and sign off on improper scores which relates in a 2 stoke penalty to their final score. (Added this in config, but would be nice stock for some users) – When a round is published, it should always be sorted by best score. It should not be alphabetical – Allow me to order my own columns. Score is more important than par. Should be Player/Score/Par/Outcome – On the Details output screen, it shows the date the event was created in the system, it doesn’t show the date the event was held. This is a problem. – On Results output screen – the bar line chart has zero meaning and is confusing. Allow me to hide it. I cannot because it is part of the scorecard, and I want that showing. – When Listing par – scores should show “+7” when it says just “Par 7” – its hard for users to understand what it means. If they see +7 or -2 they instantly know I’m 7 over or 2 under par. Import – Provide an template for golf, there is only soccer. I can share a spreadsheet I use to enter for scores and totals if needed. General Feedback – When upgrading from regular to Pro – allow users to just enter the code/license to unlock features. Having to reinstall the full plugin is silly since it asks you for the key after you install 😉 – No ability to adjust or change positions/position names. For Disc Golf we can have RHBH (Right hand back hand) RHFH (right and fore hand) LHBH, LHFH etc. There is still soccer related stuff in the golf theme that we can’t change. – All tables should allow sorting ascending/descending Settings – Next to templates dropdown add a link for user to get/install prebuilt themes templates Player Profile – Results makes no sense, why would I want to see EVERYONE’s score from a round. Its my profile, I just want to see stuff about me. Currently Player profile is not updating with any scores.
